San Pellegrino Chino Taste Dark chestnut brown colour and fine sparkling appearance. Aromatic spice cake fills the nose. Fruity caramel on the palate signals a transformation from sweet to bitter. Rich spice cake, black cherry, figs and toffee flavours also. An unusually long, bitter finish unleashes notes of liquorice and menthol.
Italy’s San Pellegrino Chino is made from Chinotto; the small, tart citrus fruits of the Myrtle-leaved orange tree. The company claim to have formulated the first Chinotto soft drink in 1932, and today the fruit is mostly cultivated in Italy.
A striking black and red 330ml aluminium can, playing on the drink’s distinctive Italian heritage, and featuring San Pellegrino’s trademark 5-pointed red star.
